What We Leave Behind
In 2022, I embarked on a project to write and photograph my first book. I chose a subject that was dear to me; collecting and preserving history.  My foreword was written by Jamie Miles, whose extensive education, background in preservation, work at the Cleveland Restoration Society, and love of history made her the perfect choice.
The book was originally published in a large format coffee table book. I've reformatted into a slightly more affordable soft cover format which is being sold on Amazon. But it's absolutely free to read and view the entire book online through the link below.
"With this book, Jackie takes look at the objects in her life that have been passed on to her, examining and cherishing each on an individual, singular level. Those "things" that could easily become part of an inextricable, impossible pile or horde for many, become beautiful and valuable once brought down and appreciated on this level. Jackie brings together storytelling, photography, and care for the objects themselves, participating in a beautiful form of stewardship."
